The meeting of sponsors and organizers will be at M-Tel Masters in May
(Sofia, March 15, 2006) The strongest tournaments of the world in classic chess will meet in Sofia and find out the possibility to unite in a chain resembling the Grand Slam in tennis.
The organizers and sponsors of the tournaments Corus - Wijk aan Zee, Morelia/Linares and M-Tel Masters will meet in Sofia between May 18 and May 21 during the second edition of the Bulgarian tournament that will start a week earlier.
At the founding meeting in Grand Hotel Sofia will come the director of the tournament Corus - Jeroen Van der Berg, the mayor of Linares – Juan Fernandez, the director of Morelia/Linares – Pedro Almansa, the governor of the Mexican city Morelia - Lazaro Cardenas. Bulgaria will be represented by the World Champion Veselin Topalov, the director of M-Tel Masters Silvio Danailov and Josef Vinatzer, CEO of M-Tel.
