Russian and Indian TV channels will broadcast M-Tel Masters

Satellite TVBulgaria will have live broadcasts from the playinghall

(Sofia, April 13, 2006) Russian and Indian TV channels will broadcast reports for the strongest chess tournament for the year M-Tel Masters that will take place from May 10 to May 21 in Sofia.

NTV+ Sport that has an audience of 1.2 million people and covers Russia and the countries from the former Soviet Union is sending a special team at the competition. Every day the Russian channel will broadcast 30-minute reports of the chess games from Grand Hotel Sofia the capital. The special correspondent of the Indian Doordashan TV arrives in Sofia on May 9. The channel has an audience of 233 million in Asia and Europe.

The rights for Bulgaria are owned by BNT. Kanal 1 will broadcast ½-hour daily repots. Famous Bulgarian grand masters will join the TV team as commentators. The satellite TV Bulgaria will make three direct live reports a day from the playing hall.
