Pirates broadcast M-Tel Masters 2006 in internet



Over 330 000 visits in the web site of the tournament till the end of Round 2

(Sofia, May 13, 2006) Pirates broadcast the super chess tournament M-Tel Masters in internet. The biggest game server in the world ICC (www.chessclub.com) announces the live broadcast of the moves from the games in the tournament. The transmission is being done by using signal from the official web site of M-Tel Masters 2006 – www.mtelmasters06.com, which is violation of the copyrights of the organizes of the competition. The service offered by ICC is accessible for all club members, who pay membership fee. Membership is free for GMs.

According to the copyright laws the access to the games on the tournament web site is free only after the end of each game when the files with the moves can be downloaded by any internet user.
