The chain will be founded at M-Tel Masters

(Sofia, May 20, 2006) The bosses of the strongest tournaments in the world come to Sofia for the founding of a chain in chess resembling the Grand Slam in tennis. The founding meeting will take place at M-Tel Masters. In Bulgaria arrive the Mayor of Linares Juan Fernandez and the director of the tournament in Linares Pedro Almansa, Jeroen van den Berg– director of the tournament in Wijk aan Zee, and the director of the tournament in Morelia – Hiquingari Carranza.

The Bulgarian super tournament will be represented by Silvio Danailov and by the CEO of  M-Tel Josef Vinatzer, who is Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the competition.

The founding meeting for the chess Grand Slam will be held at 10 o’clock on May 21 in Grand Hotel Sofia.
